Microneedling

Microneedling is designed to stimulate your skin’s natural ability to produce new collagen formation by creating microscopic channels in the skin.

Micro-needling treatments involve the use of a microneedling pen tool to administer tiny needle pinpricks to the skin. These pinpricks encourage the body’s natural healing responses thereby increasing the production of collagen and rejuvenating the skin. Micro-needling can address a number of different skin problems, including:

Microneedling

• Skin tone and texture

• Large pores

• Skin elasticity and firmness

• Lines and wrinkles

• Sun damage

• Acne scars

• Scars from surgery or trauma

While micro-needling cannot produce anti-aging results that compare to a surgical procedure, patients can see significant improvement in the facial skin with a simple, minimally invasive procedure that requires little to no downtime.  Microneedling is most commonly performed on the face but can also be used to treat the neck, chest and hands as well as some stretchmarks. Multiple treatments are recommended.
