New Surgical Center
For your privacy and convenience, we have created an outpatient plastic surgery center that adjoins our practice.
Our surgery center is dedicated exclusively to plastic surgery and was designed to provide our patients with a private and comfortable alternative to the traditional hospital setting. Our caring and dedicated staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). They are all committed to providing our patients with the highest quality patient care available. Our surgery suite is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) which assures that we provide our patients with nationally-recognized standards of care. Our continued emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and personalized attention allows us to give our patients the care and comfort they deserve.
Accreditation by the AAAHC ensures that our ambulatory surgery facility, Parker Plastic Surgery, embraces the best practices in health care and complies with all nationally recognized health and safety standards. This accreditation also represents a benchmark recognized by medical societies, health insurance companies, and both state and federal government agencies.
About Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgery can be divided into two groups: cosmetic and reconstructive. Cosmetic surgery is performed to reshape normal body structures and improve a person’s appearance. These procedures may not be considered medically necessary, but are performed, this is to increase a person’s confidence and self-esteem. Liposuction, breast augmentation, and tummy tucks are some of the most popular types of cosmetic surgery.
Reconstructive surgery involves those procedures performed to correct abnormal body structures caused by birth defects, trauma, burns, infection, or disease. These types of reconstructive surgery include breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and treatment of skin cancers. This operation is usually covered by health insurance.
